Unlike traditional tanning methods that consume vast amounts of water – typically averaging 121 litres per square metre of finished leather – Velore uses none at all. As well as saving water, DriTan technology dramatically reduces the amount of chemicals used and wastewater production. Not to mention cutting CO2 emissions by 34% compared with conventional tanning.
